The Ron Brown Scholar Program is dedicated to enhancing the lives of African Americans who possess intellectual brilliance and a strong sense of community and public service by expediting their advancement into significant leadership positions and opportunities.
Ron Brown Scholarship Review
Through a selective scholarship program that supports higher education for African Americans who are academically bright and have a strong sense of community, the Ron Brown Scholarship pays tribute to the legacy of Ronald H. Brown.
The most gifted and economically disadvantaged high school seniors who exhibit a strong interest in public service, community involvement, business entrepreneurship, and global citizenship are given one of 45–50 four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) by the RBSP, which is awarded in a competitive manner.
The renewable scholarships may be used by recipients to enroll in any accredited four-year American institution or university. Ron Brown scholarships can be used to pursue any field of study or career goal and are not restricted to any one area.
