McCall MacBain scholarship – The McCall MacBain scholarship covers all of the costs associated with your professional or master’s program. To help with living expenses while you’re studying, it also provides you with living stipends. They will also provide you with financial assistance if you have to relocate to Montréal.
You will receive assistance from advisors, a coach, and a mentor if you are awarded this scholarship. They will help you and offer advice. This program aims to provide you with opportunities to learn more and pursue your interests, in addition to enhancing your leadership abilities.
About The McCall MacBain
With the McCall-MacBain Scholarship, students can attend McGill University and earn a fully financed master’s or professional degree while engaging in a rigorous leadership development program and interacting with mentors.
It is expected of McCall MacBain Scholars to be receptive to new ideas and eager to share their knowledge.
During biweekly seminars, monthly speaker series, annual summer retreats, and other activities, you scholars will meet with global thinkers through the principal’s lectures, workshops, and other events. all while attending one of the most linguistically and culturally diverse universities in the world.
Eligibility
You must fulfill the following requirements to apply:
- As a current student, you plan to graduate by August 2025 with your first bachelor’s degree.
- In the last five years, you have obtained your first bachelor’s degree (January 2019 or later).
- You are 30 years of age or younger at any point in 2024, and you obtained your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago.
- You are interested in applying to a full-time master’s or professional program at McGill University, provided that you fulfill the prerequisites for admission.
Although the McCall MacBain fellowship was exclusively awarded to Canadians until 2023, anyone from all over the world is now eligible to apply, provided they fulfill the other prerequisites.

Every pertinent unofficial transcript
- For admission to at least one qualified full-time master’s or professional program for summer or fall, you must also apply directly to McGill. Applying before the program deadline is required, or as late as mid-December if you want to be considered for final interviews.

McCall MacBain Scholarship Details
For the 2024 cohort, applications are now being accepted. For entrance in 2024, ten international applicants and up to twenty Canadians (citizens, permanent residents, and refugees) will be selected as McCall MacBain Scholars.
You are qualified for further awards as an applicant for the McCall MacBain Scholarship. Candidates who stand out throughout the interview process will be considered for awards at the regional level, and there will be close to 100 finalists overall.
