Presidential Amnesty Scholarship – The Presidential Amnesty Programme Scholarship extends a warm welcome to a worthwhile opportunity aimed at giving former Niger Delta agitators access to high-quality education.
This scholarship, which provides completely supported postsecondary education at specific Nigerian institutions, is a cornerstone of the program’s aim to empower and reintegrate individuals.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for this scholarship:
- The Niger Delta States’ natives (Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Ondo, Imo, and Rivers) must be the applicants.
- Only the JAMB results from 2024 will be accepted.
- Candidates can log in and store their applications while they wait for the results.
- Programs leading to undergraduate and master’s degrees are only open to new entrants entering level 100.
- JAMB (2024-2025) and O’Level results (WAEC or NECO) are required for undergraduate applications.
- For the undergraduate scholarship, keep your average CGPA at least 2.5 over 5.0 or 2.0 over 4.0.
- Must follow PAP guidelines and refrain from any wrongdoing of any kind
Required Documents
For Undergraduate Studies
- At least five credits in O’Level (WAEC/NECO), including English language and math, and the local government (L.G.A.)
- 2024/2025 JAMB results
- Local Government (L.G.A.) Letter of Identification
For Postgraduate Studies
In addition to the aforementioned records, candidates for postgraduate studies must also submit:
- Transcript of First Degree
- NYSC Certificate
- Statement of Results or Degree Certificate
How to Apply
Prospective candidates may visit the PAP Scholarship Portal to register, log in, and upload the necessary files. The deadline for applications is July 19, 2024.
