UNCF has supported more than 500,000 students to earn their college degrees since its founding. UNCF is the nation’s largest private scholarship provider for minority groups.

Every year, they grant more than $100 million in scholarships to students from over 1,100 schools around the country, including our esteemed network of 37 HBCUs.

They oversee several scholarship programs, including the Fund II Foundation UNCF STEM Scholars Program, UNCF/Koch Scholars Program, Walton K-12 Education Fellowship, and Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship Program.

Eligiblity Criteria

  • Candidates ought to have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale system.
  • The scholarship will provide an award based on the student’s financial need, as determined by the attending university or college.
