Overview of Nurse Corps Scholarship Program
Applying for the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program allows you to earn support for tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.
In exchange, you must work at an approved facility with a significant shortage of nurses—a significant Shortage Facility (CSF)—after graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
You’re eligible if:
- Are you a US citizen (born or naturalized), national, or lawful permanent resident?
- Are you accepted or enrolled in a nursing degree program at a recognized nursing school in the United States?
- Start lessons no later than September 30.
- Do not have any federal judgment liens.
- Don’t have any existing service commitments.
- Aren’t past due on a federal debt.
How to Apply
To apply for the Nurse Corps Scholarship:
- Visit the BHW Customer Service Portal and log in or create an account.
- Submit your application, and that’s all.
