The Distinguished Young Women Scholarship seeks to encourage young women to fulfill their full potential by offering educational scholarships as well as personal development opportunities to help them become confident leaders.
Overview of Distinguished Young Women Scholarship
Distinguished Young Women is a national scholarship program that recognizes and celebrates academic achievement, leadership, and skill in young women.
Earn scholarships for higher education, and personal development through DYW Life Skills Workshops, and meet new people from all around the state.
Distinguished Young Women is the oldest and most extensive scholarship program for high school students.
Eligibility Criteria
This award is offered to students meeting the below eligibility criteria.
- Applicants must be Women
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
- Grade Level: High School Juniors & Seniors.
Award Information
This is Awarded to the local winners of the Distinguished Young Women Program (only awarded to the winners, no first or second alternate awards)
