Overview of Childcare Scholarship
Child Care Scholarships (CCS), formerly known as Child Care Subsidy, are provided by the state and accepted by KKCC.
The Child Care Scholarship program helps Maryland’s eligible working families who might not otherwise be able to pay for all of the expenses associated with high-quality child care.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to stand a chance for the CCS program, you have to be:
- A citizen of Maryland who is enrolled in an authorized training program, employed, or working. It is necessary for both parents to fulfill the qualifying standards if they are living in the same household.
- A person who meets the CCS income limits or who receives financial assistance.
- Prepare to give your child the vaccinations required by Maryland state law or to present proof of an exemption from vaccination requirements.
