MMVY Scholarship – The Madhya Pradesh government runs an online scholarship program called the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY) Scholarship.
Its goal is to provide SC, ST, OBC, and General categories with cash support to help them out of poverty. Undergraduate students who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for this scholarship. The only people eligible for this scholarship are Madhya Pradeshi citizens.
What is the MMVY Scholarship 2024?
The MMVY Scholarship supports college students who have scored at least 70% of their Class 12 examinations for country board students and 85% for CBSE and ICSE board students. It is exclusively available to natives of Madhya Pradesh.
The annual income of the family cannot be more than Rs. 6,00,000. Interested students can apply via the official website for this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria of MMVY Scholarship 2024
Before submitting your application, you should be aware of the eligibility requirements, which are stated below:
- Candidates must be Madhya Pradesh permanent residents.
- The pupil will be accepted for the initial year of study.
- The student’s family income should not exceed Rs. 6 lakh per year. Students must receive at least a 70% National Board score in their 10+2 or an 85% CBSE/ICSE board score.
- Applicants may apply for the scholarship even if their JEE Main score is lower than 1,50,000. Public and private universities admit medical students based on how well they score on the NEET exam.
- Based on how well they do on the CLAT exam, candidates can get admitted to Delhi University or National Law University.
- Candidates for this scholarship may also include those who have been accepted into any post-secondary program at an auxiliary, government, polytechnic, or diploma institution as a result of their success on the 12th-level exam.

- Students must attach the following essential documents along with the application form:
- Passport-sized photo
- The Aadhaar Card of the candidate
- Proof of admission
- Class 12th mark sheet
- 10th scorecard and certificates
- Domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh
- Annual income certificate
- Complete bank details, including the name of the bank, IFSC or MICR code, and branch name
Step-by-step process of Applying
- First, candidates must register on the official website, scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in. Upon registration, they will obtain a user ID and password.
- Step 2: Use your user ID and password to log in and finish the application.
- Step three: Upload the required files
- Step 4: Send in the Verification application.
