Hagan Scholarship Review
Hagan Scholarship is a program for high-achieving, self-motivated students nationally. The goal of the Hagan Scholarship is to give each student the chance to pursue a four-year degree without incurring any debt upon graduation.
The award offers students up to $6,000 per semester, or a maximum of $48,000 over eight straight semesters, to enable them to graduate from college debt-free. 324 colleges and universities presently host Hagan Scholars from 42 states.
The scholarship recipients have to be graduates of a public high school with less than 100 students in the graduating class or will graduate from a public high school in a county with fewer than 50,000 people living in it.
After graduating from high school, recipients are required to enroll in a four-year college or university within the first semester.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates are advised to:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Enroll in high school right now.
- Reside in Canada, Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam.”
