E Grantz Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

Residence: Applicants have to be Keralan citizens.
Level of Education
Must be enrolled at a board or university with accreditation in a pre-or post-matriculation program.
Requires to have applied for admission through the restricted and merit-based quotas.
Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Eligible Communities (OECs), and other socially and economically impoverished communities are among the eligible categories.
Income:
- OECs and SC are not subject to any revenue limitations.
- For OBC candidates, there is a cap of one lakh rupees per year in income.
- Those in other categories are subject to an annual income cap of one lakh rupees.
Courses Covered: Postgraduate, professional, higher secondary, polytechnic, and VHSE courses; degrees and doctorates are also included.
Application Dates for E-Grantz Scholarship 2024
Students may apply for scholarships on the official E-Grantz website within a week of starting any course (3.0). Scholarships for both pre-and post-matriculation are listed on the platform.
E-Grantz Scholarship: Documents required
If you wish to apply for the E-Grantz Scholarship, you will need to gather a few supporting documents. The list of required documents is as follows:
- Kerala’s certificate of domicile
- Age/Identity Proof: Proof of admission: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driver’s License
- Caste certificate
- Income Declaration
- Bank information
- Past exam results
- ID card for college
How to apply for the e-Grantz Scholarship?
The e-Grantz scholarship program’s online application process is comparatively easy to use. This page has a detailed explanation of how to fill out application forms.
- To do this, go to the e-Grantz website at http://www.e-grantz.kerala.gov.in/.
- Click the “One-Time Registration” button at the bottom.
- To finish the procedure, the applicant needs to enter their name exactly as it appears on their Aadhar card and select “Validate Aadhar.”
- Fill up the essential boxes with your birthdate, email address, password, and mobile number.
- Press “register” to proceed.
- To use the portal after registering, the candidate needs to supply their email address and password.
- After signing onto the service, basic data is accessible, such as a caste certificate and a domicile certificate.
- Enter the portal and complete the following steps to apply for the scholarship:
- Use the term “Scholarships-post matriculation.”
- A list of all the scholarships for which the student is eligible will be displayed to them.
- Select a scholarship program that interests you and begin the application process.
- Make sure to carefully fill out all the required fields and attach any files that need to be uploaded.
- Lastly, click “Submit.”
The head of the institution processing the candidate’s admission must receive a printed copy of the application along with any supporting documents (i.e., caste certificate, domicile certificate, and mark sheet) that may be required.
