Overview of Freedom Alliance Scholarship

The Freedom Alliance Scholarship is open to seniors in high school, recent graduates, and undergraduates who are the children of military people (soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, or guardsmen) who have died or are disabled.

Those pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s, or professional certification may apply.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be qualified for this opportunity, you must be:

  • Dependent son or daughter of American military parents who were killed in action, rendered permanently crippled by enemy action or combat, declared missing in action or prisoner of war, decorated with medals such as the Medal of Honor, navy cross, distinguished service cross, air force cross, or coast guard cross, or involved in a training accident that either killed the service member or rendered them immediately incapable of serving again.
  • American citizen, either a senior in high school or an undergraduate student.
  • Graduate of high school.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s, associate’s, or professional certification.
  • Student full-time.
  • 25 years of age or younger.
  • Child of a parent who has passed away or who is disabled.

Application Process

Online applications can be accessed at https://www.tfaforms.com/4659817.

All candidates, even those using a Fast-Track application, need to finish the online section of the application right away.

After completing the online application, you need to print, sign, and mail it to Freedom Alliance together with all required supporting documents.

Freedom Alliance will send you a letter after receiving your application packet, informing you of the Scholarship Board’s evaluation and conclusion.
