Overview of Clubs of America Scholarship
The purpose of the Clubs of America Scholarship Award, established in 2014, is to provide financial assistance to college students who demonstrate academic distinction in order to help them achieve their career and academic objectives.
Each year, one college student from a recognized post-secondary institution in the United States receives the $1,000 award.
The $1,000 prize is given to the winner’s school each year at the beginning of the autumn semester. Applicants must submit an essay to the specified email address and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to be considered.
Eligibility Requirements
- Students now enrolled in a recognized college or university are eligible to apply for this program.
- Candidates must have a GPA of at least 3.0.
- In addition to submitting a paper copy of the essay, they can also submit their essay as a five-minute YouTube video.
How to Apply
Students who qualify will:
- Write a 600-word or less essay outlining your professional goals and how your current coursework will help you realize them.
- Send your essay to scholarships@greatclubs.com via email as a.doc or.pdf attachment.
- Submissions to YouTube are not needed, although they are optional. Five minutes is the maximum length for the video.
Award Amount
At the start of each fall semester, a single $1,000 gift will be given out.
