Courage to Grow Scholarship Review
The Courage to Grow Scholarship is a $500 scholarship created to help students realize their dreams by easing their financial burden.
The Courage to Grow Scholarship is available to high school juniors, seniors, and students currently enrolled in college.
Every month, the scholarship awards $500 to a student who submits the most intelligent essay (a maximum of 250 words) about why they should be awarded the scholarship.
Since the scholarship is monthly, the deadline is the last day of each month. Therefore, if you don’t win once, feel free to try some other time!
The scholarship was designed to help students realize their college dreams by extinguishing some of the financial concerns surrounding college.
If you’re a college-bound high school upperclassman or a current college student in need of financial assistance, we encourage you to apply!
Eligibility
- You must be a junior or senior in high school or a college student.
- You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or better.
- You must be a U.S. citizen only please.
- This type of institution award is open to a two-year college
- This type of institution award is open to a four-year college
- This type of institution award is open to a trade/technical school
Bear in mind that the deadline date for this scholarship application is April 30, 2024.
Scholarship Award Process
- Open only to high school upperclassmen and college students
- Final candidates will be selected 1 week after the application deadline.
- All scholarship recipients will be honored by receiving a certificate of award.
- Scholarship monies will be distributed to the student’s college/university account pending proof of enrollment in college via the college administration department and proof of a grade point average of 2.5 or better obtained.
- Scholarship awards are for a maximum of $500.00.
