DAAD scholarships target graduates, postdocs, and doctoral students, which are given for study and research visits to German universities and non-university research institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be second or third-year students in a U.S. or Canadian college or university and must plan to return to the U.S. or Canada to complete their undergraduate degree following their stay in Germany.
- Candidates must have outstanding academic logs, well-defined study or project plans in Germany, and an interest in contemporary German and European affairs.
- Candidates should also have competency in German sufficient to execute their projects.
Award: Each scholarship comprise of a monthly stipend of approximately €650, additional funds to help defray travel and research expenses, and health insurance.
Highly qualified undergraduate students are invited to apply for scholarships for study, senior thesis research, and internships in Germany for four to ten months.
