Overview of Dellums Smart Scholarship
Dellums Smart Scholarship delivers scholarships for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students currently pursuing a degree in one of their STEM disciplines.
SMART scholars are awarded full scholarships, yearly stipends, and a job guarantee with the Department of Defense (DoD) upon graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a citizen of the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the US.
- Be at least eighteen years old on January 1, 2026.
- Possess and uphold a 3.0 cumulative GPA out of 4.0.
- Have a degree in a smart stem field that you plan to pursue in the autumn of 2025, or that you are currently pursuing.
- Be requesting money for a degree for one to five years. Funding for degrees will begin in August 2025.
- Finish your summer internships.
- Upon graduation, agree to serve the Department of Defense as a civilian employee on a one-for-one basis.
