Overview of Dr Pepper Scholarship

Dr Pepper, a well-known beverage business in North America dedicated to sourcing, producing, and distributing beverages sustainably, is the sponsor of the Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway.

Every cycle, three students who complete a brief, easy application form and record a video (approximately 60 seconds) discussing their academic objectives, career aspirations, or even personal dreams are awarded between $1,000 and $2,500 as part of their Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway.

Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship is meant for students meeting the below eligibility criteria.

  • Students between the ages of 18 and 24 who are enrolled or intend to enroll in an approved 2- or 4-year college or university are eligible to apply for this program.
  • Candidates must submit an essay outlining their objectives and plans to alter the world, consisting of a 350-character explanation and a 50-character introduction.
  • Additionally, they must submit one-minute videos outlining their personalities, elaborating on their academic and professional ambitions, and discussing how obtaining this tuition will benefit their life.
  • The Pac12 in Santa Clara, California; the Atlantic Coast Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina; the Big Ten in Indianapolis; the Southeastern Conference in Atlanta; and the Big Ten in Indianapolis are the five college football conferences whose championship games the finalists are chosen and invited to attend based on those videos.
  • Footballs are thrown into goals by the finalists chosen for each match at halftime of those nationally broadcast games.
  • Each game has a champion, runner-up, and two consolation award recipients, chosen based on the quantity of footballs hurled into the goal.
