Elks Scholarship is aimed at communities through initiatives that enhance children’s quality of life, fulfill the needs of today’s veterans, and help them grow up drug-free and healthy.
Overview of Elks Scholarship
Elks Scholarship offers grants to students demonstrating financial need, scholarship aptitude, and good citizenship. Grants may be renewed yearly, based on continued demonstration of financial need and academic achievement.
Five hundred students nationwide are selected by state quotas for the Elks Scholarship, which has award amounts ranging from $1,000 to $12,500 annually and is renewable for four years.
Twenty finalists will compete for two $50,000 first-place prizes, two $40,000 second-place prizes, and two $30,000 third-place prizes.
The remaining fourteen finalists will each get a $20,000 prize. $5,00 in scholarships will be awarded to the 480 runners-up in fifth place.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a citizen of the United States enrolled full-time in an authorized, degree-granting institution or university for a 4-year program.
- It is not necessary for applicants to be related to an Elks member.
- High school graduates are not qualified to apply.

- Application forms must be filled out.
- Analysis of financial needs is necessary.
- An essay is necessary.
- Required Community Service

They have two ways of application. You can either apply online by filling in the form provided via their website, or you can opt to send your application via email to their email address.
January 15th is the deadline for submitting your completed Mass Elks scholarship application to your local Elks Lodge.
