Overview of Gates Scholarship

The Gates Scholarship was launched in 2017 as an expansion of the Gates Millennium Scholars program, which was established in 1999. The program seeks to support talented, low-income minority students in their pursuit of higher education.

The Gates Scholarships continue this legacy of empowering outstanding students to unlock their full potential.
