JKSSS Scholarship – Applications are being accepted for the J&K Special Scholarship Scheme for students studying in Jammu and Kashmir for degrees or diplomas.
The Department of Higher Education established the Special Scholarship, which is given to a few students each year. Both students enrolled in non-technical and technical courses are qualified.
Five thousand students receive scholarships each year. The annual tuition for regular degree programs is thirty thousand rupees; for engineering programs, it can reach one and a half lakhs; and for medical programs, it is three lakh rupees.
Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Jksss Scholarship
A certification in intermediate study or the 12th grade is required of the students. Additionally qualified are pupils who are residents of Jammu and Kashmir State but are enrolled in school outside of it.
The Central Board of Secondary Education or the State Board of Education are the required learning environments for pupils, as per AICTE guidelines.
Needed Documents
- The 10th-grade matriculation, secondary board of education, and 12th-grade intermediate study certifications and mark lists, respectively, must be held by the students.
- It is necessary to have an income certificate, a caste certificate, and a community certificate.
Benefits of the Jksss Scholarship
- Approximately five thousand pupils from the same state are given the opportunity each year. Furthermore, they provide degree programs such as BA, B.Com., and medical, pharmacy, and engineering, in addition to non-technical courses. The cost will vary for day scholars and hostlers. 250 scholarships are awarded for engineering courses, 4500 scholarships are awarded for general degree courses, and the remaining 250 scholarships are awarded for medical courses.
- The annual course fee, which includes the dorm charge, is one lakh rupees. The annual tuition for regular degree courses is thirty thousand rupees; for engineering degrees, it is up to one and a half lakhs rupees; and for medical studies, it is three lakhs rupees.
How to Apply for Jksss Scholarship
- Visit the J&K Special Scholarship’s official website to apply online or offline. Go to the NIMT portal by visiting the official website at http://nimt.ac.in.
- Guidelines for completing the J&K Special Scholarship application. Before applying, candidates should carefully read the instructions, fill out the form with the necessary information, and submit it.
- Add the required documents. The J&K Special Scholarship. The application form and all required documentation should be sent by the applicant.
Selection Procedure
After reviewing all of the applications, they will select a few candidates for further consideration based on their predetermined criteria. They will then notify the students on the selected candidates‘ shortlist. The special scholarship will be given to the chosen applicants, as shown below. Each college, university, or institution will only get two scholarships.
