Kaduna State Scholarship: A Comprehensive Guide

Merit: Requirement for Scholarship

  • A CGPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 or 4.0 out of 5.0
  • At the time of disbursement, the student must have at least one more semester remaining.
  • Cannot be a pupil who overflows.

To be admitted, new students must show proof of having completed at least five subjects in Grade B, including English and mathematics, and Grade C in the remaining subjects from the WASSCE or NECO in a single sitting, no later than 2017.

Needs-Based Scholarship Description

The Kaduna State Government is committed to leveling the playing field for prosperity by guaranteeing impoverished and needy pupils equal access to high-quality education.

The Kaduna State Government is adamant that recipients of this kind of scholarship be limited to those in need. Applicants for this award must be prepared and willing to submit information about their Biometric Verification Number (BVN) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). When available, applicants with properties must be willing to give them.

Scholarship Requirement

  • A CGPA of at least 2.0 out of 5.0 or 1.6 out of 4.0
  •  At the time of disbursement, the student must have at least one more semester remaining.
  • Cannot be a pupil who overflows.
  • It is not necessary for master’s or doctoral students who have studied for longer than two or four years to apply.
  • Even though they have not received their results yet, all students who recently resumed 100 levels, ND1, or HND1 from January 2020, should still apply.

Ensure that your parents receive their tax certificates as soon as possible.

Make sure you have your parent’s death certificate instead of their tax certificate if any of your parents have passed away.

Make sure your parents, whether they work as housewives or peasants in urban or rural locations, receive a tax certificate, even if their income is only N100. In Nigeria, tax offices are located in each local government area.

Undergraduate Scholarship Requirement

Grade B for the remaining courses taken in one sitting of the WASSCE or NECO, and not earlier than 2017, and Grade A in a minimum of five subjects, including English and mathematics.

Applicants are not required to have a guaranteed spot; nonetheless, acceptance into a recognized university is a prerequisite for scholarship consideration.

Postgraduate Scholarship Requirement

  • A first-class undergraduate degree to apply for a master’s program
  • Candidates for a PhD with a master’s distinction do not need to have obtained admission; nonetheless, acceptance into an authorized university is a prerequisite for scholarship awarding.
