About the Malabar Scholarship

Founded on January 5, 1999, the Malabar Charitable Trust is a nonprofit organization. This well-known charitable trust supports the sick and impoverished by giving them cash support, medicine, and assistance in receiving hospital treatment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The scholarship program is only available to female students.
  • Students who have performed better than the 60th percentile of candidates who were successful in the relevant field.
  • The scholarship will be awarded for post-SSLC/10th standard higher study. If the scholar is not advanced to the following academic year, the scholarship will be suspended. Students receiving correspondence or distant education are not eligible to apply.
  • Every application will be carefully examined and verified. Further information can be needed to confirm the student’s eligibility for the award if needed.
  • Scholarships will only be awarded based on “Merit and Means.” The application should be submitted with attestation copies of the income certificate from the revenue authorities and the merit certificates from the board or controller of examination related to the qualifying exam.
  • The scholarship is NOT available to the dependents of workers of the Malabar Group of enterprises, its subsidiaries, or joint venture enterprises.
  • No correspondence or representation regarding the selection process will be accepted under any circumstances; the Malabar Charitable Trust’s decision regarding scholar selection is final.
  • The Trust maintains the right to reject any application and to end the scholarship program at any moment, for any reason, and without providing prior warning.
  • All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Kozhikode’s appropriate courts.
  • Enclosed must be a photocopy of the student’s bank passbook, namely the page containing their address and account number.
  • Applications for the scholarship from parallel/private registration students and self-financing/unaided/swasraya students should not be accepted.
  • Only students enrolled in government colleges and schools, as well as those receiving financial aid from government colleges and institutions, should be eligible to apply.
  • courses for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a variety of subjects are eligible for this award.
