The Mikeroweworks Scholarship honors those who understand the importance of personal responsibility, delayed gratification, a positive attitude, and, of course, work ethic. These are the people who the Mikeroweworks Foundation wants to commemorate.
Overview of Mikeroweworks Scholarship
For the tenth year in a row, they are establishing the next Work Ethic Scholarship Program and awarding an additional $1,000,000 in scholarships this year.
They’re seeking diligent fellows who will keep the lights on, the water running, and the air flowing—people who will arrive early, stay late, and work their asses out to complete the task.
It is not for everyone, but we know there are dedicated workers out there.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, you’ll have to:
- Enroll in an approved program.
- Sign the S.W.E.A.T. pledge.
- Answer four questions on the S.W.E.A.T. pledge.
- Create a video.
- Have two excellent references from teachers or bosses.
- Check your school expenses.
- Provide a high school or college transcript.
- Send us your most current 1040 tax form.
The Application Process
To apply, the candidate must fulfill these demands:
- Complete the online application including essay questions.
- State what experience(s) have influenced your decision to pursue a career in manufacturing and a specific field of study you selected.
- State what type of work you see yourself doing after you graduate and what motivates you to pursue this career.
- Turn in a copy of your transcripts and faculty recommendation.
Concerning the deadline, the application deadline has been extended to April 30.
