Overview of NYU Supplemental Scholarship
The NYU Supplemental Scholarship provides support for outstanding students pursuing innovative programs of study that investigate questions and themes within four broad areas of interdisciplinary academic inquiry.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the requirements for this scholarship: you must be admitted to a four-year degree program at New York University and maintain full-time status during each semester you receive funds.
Transfer students are eligible; however, non-degree or non-credit programs are not eligible for this scholarship.
First preference will be given to the spouses and dependents of uniformed members of the New York Police Department, the Port Authority Police Department, and other emergency response workers who died at the World Trade Center.
How to Apply
To be eligible for the NYU Supplemental Scholarship, you must:
- Turn in your admissions application by January 15th.
- Submit your FAFSA before March 1st.
- As a component of your admissions application, provide a writing sample.
- Choose the course of study from the list above that most closely matches your intended concentration on the admissions application (you may choose up to two areas).
