Eligibility Criteria for Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship

- The applicant should reside in the state of Maharashtra or one of Maharashtra’s neighboring states, Karnataka.
- The candidate must be enrolled in Class 12 at the time of application submission or have passed the 12 board exams.
- The “Maratha community” is a requirement for the candidates.
- The applicant must be enrolled in any professional or non-professional course at a college or institution that has received government approval and is either partially funded, fully funded, unaided, or permanently unaided.
- The applicant’s family income, from all sources combined, should not be more than INR 8,00,000 annually.
- The applicant ought to have been accepted under the general quota for the course they are pursuing.
- It is significant to highlight that students enrolled in correspondence, remote learning, or part-time programs are not eligible to apply.
- The grant is only available to a family’s first two children. The same scholarship cannot be used by more than two children.
Application Process
The following procedures must be followed by applicants to finish the Rajarshi Maharaj Scholarship application process:
- Go to mahadashtra.gov.in/mahadbt.
- Click “New Applicant Registration” to start the registration procedure.
- Next, to register, complete all the necessary fields and supply an active email address and mobile number.
- Finish the OTP or biometric Aadhar authentication process.
- If a candidate chooses the OTP authentication option, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile phone.
- Then finish the registration procedure by entering all the necessary information.
- Use your newly established username and password to access the MahaDBT site after finishing the registration process.
- Once the scholarship application is available, the applicant must complete the application form by providing all requested information, including academic, personal, and contact details.
- To finish the application procedure, upload all required papers with the application and select “Submit” when you’re done.
- For future use, print off the completed application form.
Documents Required
