Overview of Scholarship America

Scholarship America is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting students in realizing their college dreams. Since its founding, it has disbursed over $5.4 billion to over 3.1 million students, making it the largest scholarship administrator in the country.

Their goal is to remove obstacles to educational success, enabling every student to pursue their dreams, and we would like to collaborate with you to further this goal.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be a senior in high school, a recent graduate, or an undergraduate student in the US in order to apply.
Additionally, you have to live in a city that qualifies (a complete list of qualifying localities can be found on the application site).
In addition to proving their financial need, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Awards

Accessible to incoming college freshmen from any state in the United States:

General scholarships.
Scholarship America Trustee Award Honor Roll.
STEM scholarships are available for students pursuing majors in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Chinese-American Student World Journal Award.
Students from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin are considered Midwest Scholars.
