About SIRISH Scholarship

Programs within the Tea Tribes Welfare and Adivasi Department are carried out by the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare (TTWD) Directorate.

These initiatives cover a wide range of programs, such as support for skill development and entrepreneurship, start-up funds for self-employment endeavors, scholarships for college and university students, and aid to women’s self-help Help Groups (SHGs).

TTWD requests applications from Adivasi and Tea Tribe members each year to carry out some welfare programs and scholarships.

Beginning with the financial year 2024–2025, the directorate will use the SIRISH portal, an online application system, to expedite the application process and cut down on paperwork.

Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for applications into any of TTWD‘s welfare and scholarship programs, applicants need to fulfill the following criteria:

The applicant must be an Adivasi or Tea Tribe member and a permanent resident of Assam.
Candidates need to have a bank account that is both active and valid.
A TGL/EX-TGL caste certificate is a requirement for candidates.
The candidates’ annual family income cannot be more than ₹5.00 lakh. The parent or guardian must supply a declaration about the family income in the format that is provided.

How to Apply

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and are interested in applying for the TTWD Scholarship may do so online by following the instructions listed below:

Select the Online Application Form link.
After a new page loads, select “Don’t have an account?? Click the “Register” button. After entering your basic information, press the “Register” button.
Click the link to the online application form and log in after registering.
Following your login, a list of all applicable programs and scholarships will appear. Select the appropriate scheme.
Fill out all the required personal and educational information.
Follow the instructions to upload all required files, and then press the submit button.
Do not forget to print off the completed application form for your records.
