TVS Cheema Scholarship: Everything You Need to Know

TVS Cheema Scholarship – The TVS Corporation established the TVS Cheema Scholarship to assist students in pursuing higher education. The benefits of this scholarship are available to all students who are citizens of Tamil Nadu State.

To promote students’ academic endeavors, the scholarship will provide a monetary stipend to those pursuing undergraduate engineering degrees or diploma programs at state-accredited colleges. The chosen applicant will get a direct deposit of the scholarship funds into their bank account. The TVS Cheema Scholarship application deadline is July 7, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Tamil Nadu residents.
They have to be enrolled in or have already applied to authorized Tamil Nadu universities to pursue a diploma or undergraduate engineering degree.
For engineering courses, only those admitted through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling should be admitted via merit list for regular diploma courses.
Applicants must have received at least 60% in Class 10 (for a diploma) and Class 12 (for an undergraduate engineering degree).
For engineering candidates, the total yearly family income from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakh, and for diploma candidates, it should not exceed INR 5 lakh.
Only 2024 pass-outs are eligible; gap years and repeat years are not permitted.
