ts ePass Scholarship – The Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarship, or ts ePASS scholarship, is a noteworthy program of the Indian state governments—Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana—that aims to elevate students from poor socioeconomic strata.
It provides a variety of scholarships to students at the pre-matric and post-matric levels; the requirements for each form of scholarship vary depending on the state.
For example, the Telangana ePASS scholarship offers special programs for students who want to study abroad and covers students from class IX to postgraduate levels. Residency, income restrictions, caste/category requirements, and academic standing are among the qualifying requirements.
The entire application process is conducted online, and each scholarship has different deadlines and documentation requirements.
About the ts epass scholarship
For qualified candidates, the Telangana ePASS scholarship offers complete tuition reimbursement; additionally, students who can pay for their education will receive additional allowances. Courses from master’s degrees in various subjects to vocational studies are covered by the fellowship.
A resident of Telangana, membership in a particular backward category, fulfillment of income requirements, and upholding a particular degree of attendance are all necessary eligibility requirements.
Aadhaar cards, attendance certificates, caste certificates, income certificates, and academic transcripts are commonly included in the list of required papers.
Scholarship rejections may be due to a variety of factors, such as incomplete or inaccurate application materials, non-compliance with particular requirements, or admissions under quotas such as management quota admissions.
For 2023–2024, enrollment for post-matriculated first-year students is currently available, as are renewals. The registration date for this is June 15, 2024.

How to Apply for The Scholarship
- Visit the official Telangana Epass website.
- Based on your degree of education, scroll down and select the relevant scholarship.
- Under each category, you will see a plethora of scholarship opportunities. Select the scholarship that most closely relates to you.
- To proceed, choose “New Registration.”
- An application form will appear in your browser.
- Finish the application by entering all required information and submitting all scanned copies of your supporting materials under the instructions.
- Evaluate and put into action.
- Print the application and save it with a note that includes the reference number.

Eligibility Criteria and the Categories
In total, five scholarships are proposed by the Telangana ePASS platform. Below is a list of all the scholarships, together with information about their requirements and the categories of students that can apply.
Scholarships for Pre-Matric Students in Telangana Who Are PWD, SC, ST, or BC
Applications for the Telangana Pre Matric Scholarship are available to students who belong to the following groups: Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
The prerequisites
- Residents of Telangana must be students, and a family’s annual income cannot be more than INR 2,00,000.
- The student is not qualified to apply for any more centrally sponsored Pre-Matric scholarships.
- Pre-matriculation scholarships are available to students in Classes 5 through 10.
- The government, Municipal Corporations, Zilla Praja Parishad, Mandal Praja Parishad, or Municipalities must be the school’s operators.
- The caste and income certificate must be issued by “Mee-Seva” Counters and digitally signed.
ePASS Scholarship Status
If you’ve applied for a Telangana ePASS scholarship, you can quickly check the status of your application through the portal, either for TS or Telangana ePASS scholarships. You must go to the relevant scholarship website and get the TS status for each scholarship to confirm its legitimacy.
