JBNSTS Scholarship – West Bengali students have access to financial aid through the JBNSTS Scholarship program. For students in classes 10 through 12, the Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) has introduced the JBNSTS Junior and JBNSTS Senior scholarships.
Through the JBNSTS Junior and Senior Talent Search Test, students are chosen by JBNSTS to receive these scholarships. On the JBNSTS official website, www.jbnsts.ac.in, the online application procedure for the JBNSTS Junior and Senior Talent Search Test is presently open.
July 31, 2024, is the deadline for online registration. For JBNSTS Junior, the application fee is INR 100, and for JBNSTS Senior, it is INR 200 (non-refundable)
Only graduates of Class 10 who have at least a 75% grade point average are qualified for the JBNSTS Junior scholarship. They must, however, be enrolled in Class 11 in the scientific stream and have completed their Class 10 in 2024.
Candidates must have passed or sat in the Class 12 exam in 2024 to be eligible for the JBNSTS Senior Scholarship. To be qualified, they must also pursue degrees in Basic Sciences in West Bengal.
JBNSTS Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Exams administered by the Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Foundation are primarily noted below:
Junior Talent Search at JBNSTS
- Applicants must have received at least a 75% aggregate score in their class 10 (Madhyamik/মাধ্যমিক) or equivalent exam in 2023.
- They have to have been enrolled in any West Bengali school in Class 11 in the science stream for the current academic year.
- The following topics have to be selected by candidates: computer science, physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, statistics, and statistics.
Senior Talent Search at JBNSTS
- Applicants must be enrolled in Class 12 or have passed the prerequisite course.
- As part of an undergraduate program, they have to enroll in science courses (UG).
- Candidates have to complete their undergraduate studies in West Bengal as of this year.

JBNSTS Scholarship and Awards
Below are some of the awards the scholarship offers for both the junior and senior category
Junior Talent Search JBNSTS
- For two years, INR 1,250 would be given to selected individuals per month (Classes 11 and 12).
- They will also get a book grant of INR 2,500 per year in addition to this.
JBNSTS Senior Talent Search
- Candidates who meet the requirements will receive Rs. 4,000 every month until their undergraduate degree is finished.
- In addition to the baseline scholarship sum, they will receive an annual book allowance of Rs. 5,000.

- A scanned copy of the class 10 mark sheet in PDF or JPEG format, with a 1 MB
- A scanned copy in JPG or PDF format of the class I 11 admittance proof (maximum size – 1 MB).
- JPG or PDF scan of the class 10 admission card, with a maximum file size of 1 MB.
- Scanned signature image in jpeg or jpg format (up to 50 KB in size).
- A current passport-size high-resolution photo in jpeg or jpg format (maximum size: 100 KB).
