Eligibility Criteria for the LIC HFL Vidyadhan scholarship

To be eligible for the LIC Corporation’s multiple scholarship programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:

LIC HFL Scholarship for Postgraduation 

  • Students in their first year of a postgraduate program at any recognized college, university, or institution in India are also eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must have achieved at least 60% in their respective UG-level programs.
  • The applicant’s total annual household income cannot exceed INR 3,60,000.
  • Preference will be given to COVID-affected children who have lost any of their earning members/parents since January 2020, or whose earning family member(s) have lost their livelihood/employment as a result of the pandemic.

LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship for Graduation 

  • Students enrolled in the first year of a three-year graduate degree (in any discipline) at any accredited college, university, or institution in India may apply.
  • Applicants must have scored at least 60% on their Class 12 board exams.
  • The applicant’s annual household income cannot exceed INR 3,60,000.
  • Priority will be given to COVID-affected children who have lost any working members/parents since January 2020, or whose earning family member(s) have lost their livelihood/employment as a result of the epidemic.

LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship for Class 10 Passers 

  • Students enrolled in grade 11 at any accredited Indian institution are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must have earned more than 60% on their Class 10 board exams.
  • The applicant’s total annual family income cannot be more than INR 3,60,000.
  • COVID-affected youngsters who have lost any earning members/parents since January 2020, or whose earning family member(s) have lost their livelihood/employment as a result of the pandemic, will be given special consideration.

Selection Procedure

The Life Insurance Corporation will select the HFL Vidyadhan scholarship in a fairly straightforward manner. Applicants will also be picked based on their qualifications and financial needs. The applicant must also fill out the application form. 

This scholarship application will be evaluated based on both merit and financial need. Following the shortlisting, the applicant will be contacted by telephone.
